Our experience

Homfray Communication’s principal, Tony Homfray, has more than 20 years experience in media and public relations consultancy work for Australian and international companies.

Assignments during that time have included government and issues management activities for AAMI, Fujitsu, Motorola, Hoechst chemicals, Australia’s Very Fast Train project, Metcard (the introduction of Melbourne’s multi-model transport ticketing system) and the tender process for Transurban’s successful bid for Melbourne’s City Link project.

Consulting work with Burson-Marsteller, the world’s leading public relations consultancy, involved clients such as IBM, NorTel, CSL and the Victorian State Government.

Tony has also held the position of Communication Manager for Hewlett-Packard (Australia and New Zealand) and managed internal and external communications for KPMG Consulting (Bearing Point) during the implementation of the firm’s SAP system which, over a two-year period, was rolled-out to 4500 staff in 14 offices around Australia.

Most recently Tony held the position of Marketing Director for a United States based software developer. Based in Sacramento, California, this Independent Software Vendor developed applications to manage the day-to-day operations of governments, councils and utilities around the world.
